Alaska Our Story – Day 5 Sitka Part 5

April 23, 2012  •  Leave a Comment

The town of Sitka is very beautiful.  One of the highlights is St. Michael’s Cathedral. A national historic landmark, the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel is the principal representative of Russian cultural influence in the 19th century in North America.

Like we have already learned about Alaska, the flowers are just wonderful this time of year.  For me, the flowers were a bight part of the day which I needed with such a cloudy day.
